Many of these have long jumps between gaps in the ridges. As with other tasks a significant amount of planning may be required.

50km
Many of these could be flown in a 2-seater with an instructor first before going solo. You are encouraged to discuss flight plans with an instructor beforehand. The badge requirement is for 50km only, so a one way flight is all that is needed. (You can land at the finish airport). However this list shows Out & Return of 100k which is not necessary, just more convenient to come back.
